INTROSPECTION: behind the album
Release Date: February 2017
Go behind the scenes of The Art of Extravagance album with Introspection, a docu-series produced, directed and edited by Damez. Shot mostly in 2015-2016, the series marks the first visual project edited by Damez himself and gives watchers a front-row seat to the creation of his second project and first full-length studio album.
During this time, he took a semester off from school and temporarily moved to Dallas, TX. He returned home to Georgia in December 2015 and re-enrolled back at Georgia Southern University to complete his studies, graduating on May 6, 2017 — exactly 3 months after the release of The Art of Extravagance on February 6. Follow Damez as he travels to Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston and more, before eventually returning to his college lifestyle and musical endeavors, this time an even stronger more experienced version of himself, with a lot of stories of tell.
“Introspection” contains footage from "Intersections" documentary directed by Mick Miller & co-produced by Meg Elwood. Edited by Damez.
