As part of GRAMMY Weekend in Los Angeles, CA, Damez attended the inaugural ‘Academy Proud’ event on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The launch event hosted by the Recording Academy and GLAAD in efforts to build community, share space, and celebrate the music industry's LGBTQ+ voices.

Damez rocked the house at Heart WEHO in Los Angeles, CA for LA Blade’s Best of LGBTQ LA Awards Party. Presented by Gilead Sciences, the event honored “the best of the Los Angeles LGBTQ community” with hosts, awards, and a special performance.
