Produced by Bokoven, “PTSD” stands as one of Damez’s most vulnerable records to date—an emotionally charged track that explores the intensity of internal battles and the journey toward healing. Written and recorded during a deeply reflective period, the song opens with chaotic, racing thoughts that mirror the experience of a panic attack, before transitioning into a space of clarity, acceptance, and growth. Featuring excerpts from a real-life therapy session, “PTSD” blends jazzy production with heavy drums to create a sound that is both intimate and powerful. The accompanying music video visually expands on these themes, portraying Damez as a military soldier.
In stark contrast, “Denzel Freestyle” delivers a bold reminder of Damez’s lyrical prowess.
