#MIYYIM: Damez Joins ViiV Healthcare's Ending HIV Campaign
Damez has been tapped for the Me In You, You In Me campaign by Viiv Healthcare and Harley & Co. The campaign is aimed at raising awareness and highlighting resources for preventive medications as well as fighting the stigmas associated with the virus. Alongside Damez representing for Atlanta, the campaign features Tina Knowles-Lawson, Jalen Rose, Kalen Allen, Ve’ondre Mitchell, and more.
HIV prevention is for everyone. When it comes to deciding what actions to take, you have options – for your community, your sexual network, and yourself.
We don’t talk about HIV prevention enough, And when we do, our biases often get in the way. So we launched a campaign that brings communities together to de-stigmatize and normalize a new type of conversation around HIV prevention.
Recognizing that the communities most disproportionately affected by HIV are those who have benefited the least from the advances in HIV prevention, Me in You, You in Me seeks to ensure that all people are aware of the role they play in preventing HIV and to connect them to resources.
